Working with professional and fully accredited Green deal partners you can install 13 different energy saving home improvements to your home, including boiler replacements, double glazing, insulation and more using The Green Deal Home Improvement Fund launched in June this year by the government.
As an incentive, home owners can claim up to £7,600 in Green Deal Cashback to put towards these initiatives.
To qualify you must own the property where the installation is to take place and each initiative required by the home owner must be stated as a recommendation on the Green Deal Advice report.
How it works
An Amerden assessor will survey your property to confirm your eligibility. They will confirm the cost of installing the recommended chosen measures and explain the process from start to finish
A Green Deal Advice Report (GDAR) will need to be carried out. Amerden Environmental charge £150 for this, however £100 will be refunded to you when you install the recommended chosen measures.
Using your GDAR you can claim up to £7,500 in cashback vouchers via the dedicated website from the Department of Climate and Energy Change (DECC) https://gdcashback.decc.gov.uk. The voucher is then sent to you the customer to put towards the cost of the measures.
Any remaining balance outstanding from the installation can then be paid either using Green Deal Finance (the finance repayment is added to the properties electric bill), by personal loan, 0% interest free finance or personal savings.
